A mixed reality application designed to visualize interior design solutions directly inside real environments through spatial mapping, hand tracking interaction and an integrated furniture catalog.
Project Overview
This project focuses on developing a mixed reality application that allows users to visualize interior design solutions directly within their physical environment.
Using spatial mapping technologies, the system scans the surrounding space and generates a digital representation of the room. This allows virtual furniture and decorative elements to be placed accurately within the real-world environment at true scale.
The experience also includes a user interface accessible in mixed reality, enabling users to browse a catalog of available objects and place them directly into the environment. Interaction with the system is performed through hand tracking, allowing users to manipulate and position objects in a natural and intuitive way.
The goal of the project was to create an immersive tool capable of improving spatial understanding and supporting design decisions by blending virtual content with real-world spaces.
Applications of this type include interior design visualization, architecture presentations, retail product configurators and immersive showroom experiences.
